Latest report from Ming Chi-Kuo, world’s most acclaimed Apple insider, reveals Apple’s next-gen iPhones will have really large front and back cameras that the company will be using “black lens-coating technologies.
Kuo’s report “the cameras themselves should be worth it” On the front, Kuo says Apple’s iPhone 11 and 11 Max will have 12MP cameras with five elements, that is 70% increase on 7MP four element shooters from iphone XS MAX and XS.
But the real real deal are on the back.
Previously leaked prototype, Kuo tells that Apple will fit triple cameras on the iPhone 11 and 11 Max but he adds a new level of detail, explaining that new Iphone will have 12MP primary, telephoto and super-wide-angle cameras. that will be equipped with the 12MP/1um CIS exclusively made by Sony”.
Kuo even states that the next-gen iPhone XR, will have the same setup, will be limited to a dual camera now sure if users will like it because they will miss out on the telephoto or super-wide-angle camera.
black lens-coating Apple might use it on both the front camera and the super-wide-angle lens. It might make these massive cameras look any better because already its subject of some mockery. This is going to be an ugly iPhone even by hiding its bulbous cameras won’t save it, it all depends how those camera will perform.
Apple will stick to its 2H release strategy and new iPhones have been unveiled in September every year since 2012, that seems a safe bet.
